Two kinds, and the difference matters
Referenced. Published research says what is typical for this measurement, so the report can tell you roughly where you sit, and it names the source. 23 of 82 are like this.
Tracked. Measured to the same precision every time, where no published work has yet established a population norm. The report tells you exactly what changed since last time, which is the number that belongs to you rather than to a study.
Most of the catalogue is tracked, because the published evidence on human posture is thinner than the category likes to admit. We name our sources where they exist and we do not manufacture them where they do not.

What each score is measured against
Not every measurement is compared to the same kind of thing, and the report never lets the four blur together. Each score carries its own wording.
- objective
- Measured against an exact left-right match, or against true vertical. This reference is not a matter of opinion.
- preference
- Measured against published research into what people find attractive. This is a finding about preference, not about health, and it is not a target you need to meet.
- typicality
- Measured against how common this proportion is in a measured population. A lower score here means less common, not worse. Proportions are how you are built.
- health
- Measured against a published health threshold, from measurements you took yourself.
